Some of my die-hard Windows friends are very excited by Windows 8 arrival later this year. Others fear that Windows 8 will be a repeat of Microsoft’s Vista disaster. Me? I know Windows 8 will be a Vista-sized fiasco.

Before jumping into why I think far most PC users will still be running Windows 7 in 2016 than Windows 8, let me explain that while I prefer Linux as my desktop operating system, I don’t see Windows 8 charge into a b

rick wall as being a pro-Linux or anti-Microsoft issue.

Microsoft removes ‘Start’ button from latest Windows 8 build

Do you like the Windows ‘Start’ button? Well, if you do, you’d better get used to it being gone in Windows 8 because it seems that Microsoft has removed it from the latest builds of the operating system.

Here’s a leaked screenshot from the near-final Windows 8 “Consumer Preview” version (build 8220) which comes to us via PCBeta.com:

Bu yazımız da Microsoft’un yeni Server işletim sistemi olan Windows Server 8 ile birlikte hayatimiza girecek olan sanallaştırma yeniliklerden bahsediyor olacağız.

Ölçeklenebilirlik Özellikleri

  • Windows Server 8 Hyper-V sunucularda desteklenen mantıksal işlemci sayısı 160’a çıkıyor(Windows Server 2008 R2’de bu sayı 64 idi, Windows Server 8’de genel limit ise 640 olarak belirlendi)
  • Windows Server 8 Hyper-V sunucularda desteklenen bellek miktarı 2 TB’a çıkıyor (Windows Server 2008 R2’de bu sayı 1 TB idi, Windows Server 8’de genel limit ise 8 TB olarak belirlendi)
  • Windows Server 8 Hyper-V sanal makinelerde desteklenen sanal CPU (vCPU) sayısı 32’ye çıkıyor (Windows Server 2008 R2’de bu sayı 4 idi)
  • Windows Server 8 Hyper-V sanal makinelerde desteklenen bellek miktarı 512 GB’a çıkıyor. (Windows Server 2008 R2’de bu sayı 64 GB idi)
  • Windows Server 8 Hyper-V kümelerinde (cluster) desteklenen node sayısı 63’e çıkıyor (Windows Server 2008 R2’de bu sayı 16 idi)
  • Windows Server 8 Hyper-V kümelerinde desteklenen çalışan VM sayısı 4000’e çıkıyor (Windows Server 2008 R2 kümelerinde bu sayı 1000 idi)
  • Guest NUMA: Yüksek sayıda CPU içeren sanal makineler NUMA mimarisinden faydalanıyor.
